Join a Unit
"Unit" is the League's term for a neighborhood discussion group, where members study issues, try to reach consensus, and ultimately guide the board in its work toward developing positions. Some units also arrange local activities to work on voter registration or do candidate forums. Units meet once a month to discuss the topic provided in that month's Voter (our newsletter) and are open to the public.
Due to Covid 19, the community meetings the units did throughout King County have been put on hold and some have now begun to organize Zoom online meetings. Because they are online, they are even easier to get to, so feel free to contact us to connect with the one that is most convenient for you.
