Voter Registration

The League is committed to promoting citizen involvement in government, and key to this is registering citizens to vote. The League regularly registers voters at events throughout Seattle and the Eastside.

League volunteers register voters every year at the Naturalization Ceremony at Seattle Center on July 4.League volunteers register voters every year at the Naturalization Ceremony at Seattle Center on July 4.We are also looking for voter registration leads who will be responsible for ensuring all forms are accounted for and are submitted to the elections office in a timely manner.

Training is provided. Join us as we help to make democracy work!

Speakers Bureau

The goal of the League Speakers Bureau is to provide accurate, fair and nonpartisan information to community groups. We are seeking experienced speakers who will present the pros and cons of ballot issues, discuss issues such as election reform and moderate candidate debates. If you enjoy speaking to community groups, you just may find your niche with our Speakers Bureau.

A picture says a thousand words...

If you have a digital camera and a knack for capturing the moment, we would love to talk with you about submitting photos for our newsletter and web page. This will involve attending meetings and events and snapping shots of the League in action.

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee seeks volunteers to help welcome new members, update member rosters and help with the Get to Know League dinners. This is a great way to share your enthusiasm for the League.
