Natural Resources Committee

The Natural Resources Committee covers a broad list of topics including all aspects of the environment from climate change to energy, waste control, water, litter control and the indoor environment at both the local and State level.

The Natural Resource Committee (NRC) operates in cyberspace with emails and phone calls and welcomes new members who like to study, seek consensus, and take action on positions of the League. This method saves time and gasoline but above all allows more people to participate. We are considering a conference call that would allow all members to participate in an ear to ear meeting. We are interested in recruiting new members and will hold a face-to-face meeting at least once a year to introduce them.

We want to use the internet to educate families and help them make informed decisions about the home and outdoor environment. We need people who have an interest and time to work in areas mentioned above. We hope we can help you follow your bliss in the Natural Resources Committee to make this world a sustainable place to live.

To get involved, contact Natural Resources Committee Chair John Roberts.
