The League of Women Voters is a grassroots organization where individuals like you actively engage in creating positive change on the local, state, and national levels. Become a member and serve as a leader in your community, and work to shape the important issues that keep our communities strong.
As a member you will receive the Seattle Voter, a monthly newsletter to keep you up-to-date with League action and activities. You may learn to be an effective lobbyist. You may decide to volunteer on a committee and take an active interest in a particular issue or study. Committee members attend community meetings and review proposed legislation that may impact their respective committee assignments. In addition, committees are formed to conduct comprehensive studies of issues selected at the Annual Meeting in the spring.
