Luis graduated in 2010 from the University of Washington with a bachelor&#039;s degree in political science. He was recognized as a Mary Gates Scholar, a Zesbaugh Scholar, and the winner of the prestigious Edward E. Carlson Student Leadership Award. Luis is known as an advocate for the rights of undocumented youth and has done presentations on the topic of immigration and the DREAM Act at various colleges and conferences. Luis is currently writing his first book, &lt;i&gt;Constructing Citizenship: Undocumented Youth, Higher Education and Politics.&lt;/i&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</description>
