Thursday, June 12 1501 Pike Place Go Behind the Scenes at the Pike Place Market Let’s meet at The Pig! Join a Behind the Scenes tour of the Pike Place Market and hear about its fascinating history. Tour will be led by three staff people of the Pike Place Market PDA: Carol Binder, Executive Director, James Haydu, Director of Marketing & Communications, and Scott Davies, Public Information Specialist. The tour is the North Central Unit’s annual fundraiser. Suggested donation is $30.00 per person. What a deal! We expect a bond issue to support some critically needed repairs and improvements to the market next year. Coming on the tour will make you a better-educated voter. Tour will be followed by a box lunch provided the North Central Unit and served to you at nearby Olympic Sculpture Park.
